Finally, some common sense

What happens when someone makes and honest mistake about a religion these days? Especially a religion of middle-eastern origin? Typically, a lawsuit,  lots of media attention, a bunch of outraged practicers of the faith. Unless that mistake involves someone who is Jewish.

Seems a butcher had put out a display with a sign saying “Haunekah Hams”, unaware that pork and fish are two foods that Jews cannot eat according to their faith. The reaction?

“I just thought it was funny,” Shapiro, who described herself as an unobservant Jew, told the New York Post. “I wasn’t offended in any way. I just thought, here’s somebody who knows nothing about what Jews eat.”

Wasn’t offended in any way. Wouldn’t it be nice if more people were so tolerant?
